Fraud currently accounts for approximately 41% of all crime, a figure that is certainly underestimated due to the significant levels of under‑reporting. Cyber‑crime and fraud now operate hand in hand, with technology constantly advancing this enables criminals to expand both their methods and their impact on victims.
